It is my opinion that functional programming will be huge this year, and thus very beneficial to begin learning. The problem, is that learning functional programming from scratch can be so confusing because of the vast amount of jargon associated with it. After toying with it for a month, I decided to put together an intro for anyone who wants to know what it is all about.
